My Happy Place

I first went to Disney World when I was 6 years old.  I did not go back until my honeymoon when I was 22.  I don't remember a lot about the first trip, but I fell in love hard on the second.  I have since been to Disney too many times to count.  I love the planning as much as going.  We have our favorite times of the year to go, hotels that feel like home, and restaurants we always go to.  I love to help people with planning and I get excited when they have as great a time as I always do.  Now that we have children it is even more magical seeing the parks through their eyes.

I will say that not all my trips have been magic and pixie dust, but I still love it.  Want to know why?  It is not the rides, food, or the shows.  What I love about Disney is the possibilities.  Walt Disney proved that anything is possible.  He started with a cartoon mouse and built a world of magic and wonder from it.  He created things that nobody ever thought possible and loved to share it with the world.  Mr. Disney made the people, both young and old,  who experienced what he created the priority.  He wanted them to walk away from his parks, movies, or tv shows with happiness, joy and a smile.  I love Walt Disney, both the man and the parks, and thank him for drawing that cartoon mouse and believing that anything is possible.
